Let's do another #ThrowbackThursday piece. This song conjures up the scent of baby powder and hair gel. It brings back memories of waiting outside the gate of our house as a kid, waiting for a jeepney to pass by, so I can catch a ride to school.
Sometimes, if I'm early enough, I would even ride one that is driving away from school. It goes up a mountain, then loops back down and goes toward my school. It was a good way to pass the time.
The feel of the early morning breeze, this song blasting on the speakers, the excitement of meeting friends at school, those were good times.
Back to the past with this catchy pop rock track from the 80s.
On a night when bad dreams become a screamer
When they're messin' with the dreamer
I can laugh it in the face
Twist and shout my way out
And wrap yourself around me
'Cos I ain't the way you found me
And I'll never be the same
Oh, yeah
Well, 'cos you
(Ooh-ho, hoo-ooh, ooh-oo)
You make my dreams come true
(You-hoo, you, you-hoo, hoo, you, hoo)
Well, well, well you
